ilvia Jordan is a trial-tested attorney who brings a wealth of courtroom experience to bear on client issues.
Silvia was an instrumental part of the firm's 2016 jury trial victory against Samsung, which resulted in a treble damages award of over $20.9-million. And in the firm's back-to-back jury trial defense victories on behalf of Gap Inc. and Barnes & Noble in the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division, Silvia argued dispositive motions and various evidentiary issues before the court.
These and other successes have been recognized by clients, peers, and opposing counsel. Silvia has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine.
Silvia is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Leadership Committee. Silvia’s pro bono work includes coaching mock trial teams in the New York City public schools. She has coached at the Bronx School of Law, Government and Justice, and at the P.S./M.S. 108 Assemblyman Angelo Del Toro Educational Complex. Previously, her team won the Thurgood Marshall Junior Mock Trial Competition, with one student earning the coveted Best Advocate award.
Silvia gained early and regular exposure to the inner workings of a trial court while serving as a clerk during law school in the chambers of the Honorable Richard Conway Casey of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
